In most sports involving children, families have an obligation to both the children and the organization responsible for the management of the activity in which the children are involved. Competitive swimming, and our program specifically, demands as much family involvement as any other sport.

The Cole Harbour Hurricanes was established solely by volunteers. And as with many community-based organizations, volunteers continue to work behind the scenes not only to help ensure a pleasant experience for our athletes but as well to help offset the cost of running a quality program.

We are especially proud of our volunteers - without their dedication and enthusiasm, the Hurricanes would not have the strength and intensity for which it has become known!
